Peaceful Postpartum
Are you looking for a place to help you prepare and navigate the days, weeks, and months after birth?
If so, you have come to the right place.
Maybe you have prepared for your upcoming birth but have not given much thought to the essential needs for you and your baby during the postpartum time.
Or maybe you are in the thick of the postpartum time now or you’ve been through the postpartum time before and it was challenging, with sleep deprivation, exhaustion and isolation.
Maybe you assumed that breastfeeding would just magically work and that you would be back to your pre-pregnant self in a week or two and that you could learn everything you need to know about parenting from books.
When that didn’t happen you felt confused, overwhelmed, exhausted and alone – and you want it to be different.
It can be different

I am delighted that you have reached out, seeking the knowledge and tools to prepare you for your postpartum journey. It will not always be easy, but with a holistic understanding of women’s physiology and the innate needs of new mothers during the postpartum time I am here to help you prepare and to navigate the path to wholeness, health, peace and joy.
I invite you to take this journey with me.
Peaceful Postpartum was born after seeing many women struggling after giving birth. As a childbirth educator and birth doula for many years and a pregnancy and postpartum massage therapist, I was deeply concerned and frustrated at seeing the many women I would attend throughout their pregnancies and births struggle during the postpartum time.

Facilitating a Cultural Shift Around Postpartum Care
The more I looked into current postpartum care practices, the more I found that our society lacks the knowledge, understanding and cultural values to properly support women during this time. As I dug deeper, I discovered ancient ancestral traditions around the world that support the unique needs of mothers through simple nourishing and nurturing care practices that meet the physiological needs of new mothers.
The quality of care that a woman receives during the postpartum time will determine her recovery – mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Personalized in-home support services gives you the peace of mind to be able to bond with your baby, focus on breastfeeding and be the mother you want to be.
You feel deeply committed to yourself and your family. You have spent a lot of time planning your upcoming birth, being proactive in living a healthy lifestyle and now it’s time to give some thought to what is needed during the weeks and months after your baby arrives.
Emerge from the postpartum time feeling supported, confident and relaxed.
Imagine being acknowledged, supported, connected and resourced to recover and heal physically and emotionally after birth and cultivate your unique art of mothering.
Postpartum care is essential – not a luxury – for women’s lifelong health and well being and is foundational to her entire family and community.
When a mother is nourished and cared for, her whole family and community benefit. It is through in-person support and community connection that mothers can fully heal and be the mothers they want to be.
Our Services
A little about me,
Originally from Salem Oregon on the west coast of the United States, I made Aliyah in 2012 and live in Jerusalem, Israel. I have been working with families for about 8 years, first as a birth doula and childbirth educator and more recently as a massage therapist, postpartum educator, and postpartum care specialist. I am experienced in assisting with the needs of the postpartum mother and family and am honored to be part of this special time. I am trained in postpartum care through Newborn Mothers and as an INNATE Postpartum Care – Certified Provider. I am a Certified Massage Therapist and Reflexologist and I specialize in bodywork for pregnancy and postpartum.
I enjoy hiking and touring around Israel, going to English plays, cooking and baking, and spending time with family and friends.
